Volvo is “stumbling”?
I have a ’98 volvo v70 wagon and when i’m cruising at part throttle the car starts to “stumble”, if you will, and feels as if it’s trying to downshift, then upshift.
I believe it’s a transmission problem, but it only occurs at a cruising throttle.
it doesn’t happen all the time, it’s weird, it feels as if it’s pulling, and it tries to downshift.
Having owned a 98 model, I remember having a similar problem with stumbling. As it turns out there was a computer download that had to be done at the dealership. It was a recall. You might check the recall history for that model and see if yours is affected.
